Joe Louis Littlejohn

Joe Louis Littlejohn, 86, of 100 Fairfield Avenue, Apt 21-A, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 in his home.

He was born in Gaffney, South Carolina on January 30, 1938 to the late Reverend Theodore Roosevelt and Lillian Wilburn Littlejohn.

Joe was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. He was an advocate Bass Player for the Flamingo Band. He further his education at Spartanburg Technical College and he was a retiree as an employee for Cherokee County Courthouse.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his parents: his siblings, Alonzo, Theodore, Jr., Marvin, Charles, William Franklin, Sr., Alfonzo, and Maude Mae Littlejohn, Estelle Edwards, Doris Brow, and Sandra Hall.

He leaves to cherish loving memories: two sons, Sean Littlejohn and Joey Littlejohn; two daughters, Doris Littlejohn and Josephine Littlejohn; a sister, Augustine Littlejohn; an aunt, Lidell Logan; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.


A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 6th, at 2:00 p.m., in The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

A Repast will be held at his sister’s- Augustine Littlejohn – 317 Chesnee Hwy, Gaffney, SC 29341

Floree Gordon Roberts

Floree Gordon Roberts, age 83, of 100 Fairfield Dr. Apt-B, Gaffney, passed away Tuesday, March 19th, in Carlyle Senior Care of Aiken.

She was a daughter of the late Broadus and Clara Mickles Gordon.

Floree was a former member at White Plains Baptist Church. She was a faithful attendee at the Senior Center and she was formerly employed at Oxford Textile as a Seamstress before retirement.

She leaves to cherish loving memories: a husband, Johnny Lee Roberts, Sr., of Shelby, NC; two sons, Andrew Roberts and Johnny Roberts, Jr. (Carol), both of Charlotte, NC: a daughter, Loree Roberts, of Gastonia, NC; a sister, Valaree Manning, of Gaffney, SC; 4 grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, March 26th, at 12:00 noon, in White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend James Patton.

Reba G. Williams Walker

Mrs. Reba W. Walker, 64, of 106 Robin Drive, Johnston, SC, went to be with our Lord on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Reba was born on September 28, 1959 in Peekskill, NY to the late J.W. and Mary J. Williams, who both preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Emily Edrington and Vickie Stewart.

Reba is survived by her husband, Reginald Walker of the home; sons, Cory Williams (LaSheryl) of Nashville, TN, Marcus Williams, Charlotte, NC, Reginald Walker, Jr. (Vickie), Steve Walker (Shay), Jerome Walker (Tiara) all of Johnston; daughters, Nikita Williams, Birmingham, AL, Cynthia Walker (Travis), Sonya Walker, Nikki Walker of Johnston, Regina Walker, Shelby, NC, Ja’Nova Walker and Mason Leach who were raised in the home; sister, Ms. Terril C. Williams, Gaffney, SC; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 22, 2024 at  1pm in Simmon Ridge Baptist Church, 286 Center Spring Road Edgefield, SC 29824
