Michael Dean Dover, 60, of 815 W. Buford Street, entered eternal rest Saturday, October 31st, in his home.
He was born in Gaffney, SC on August 29, 1955 to Sandy and Grace Peeler Dover.
Michael attended the public schools of Cherokee County and was a construction worker and auto mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, James and Ricky; a sister, Ruth Dover; and a nephew, Anthony Dover. He leaves to cherish loving memories: a son, Michael Dover, Jr.; one brother, Joe Dover; two sisters, Mary Lee Dover and Sandra Mitchem; his companion, Sherry Spencer; an aunt, Sarah Davidson; nieces; other relatives and friends.
Services to be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 11:00am in the Gilmore Mortuary Chapel.
This absolutely breaks my heart. Michael Jr. is a kid with a huge heart. I know he is struggling with this. Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.
