Johnny William Graham

Johnny William Graham, 78, of 127 Ingles Drive, Pacolet Mills, SC, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, in his home.
Husband of Mary Andrews Graham, he was born in Cherokee County, SC and was a son of the late Horace and Leonia Littlejohn Graham.
Johnny was a member of Salem Zion Baptist Church in Pacolet. He was a 1962 graduate of Granard High School and a retiree of Hertz Fibers.
He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Ernest Graham and Boyd Graham. He leaves to cherish loving memories: his wife, Mary, of the home; daughters, Teresa Walker (Leon) and Lashondra Jones (Terrell, both of Spartanburg, SC, Shelia Knuckles (Glen, of Pacolet; Emma Andrews, of Chattanooga, TN, Lakesha Beaty, raised as her daughter, of Anderson, SC; brother, Ricky Brown, of Gaffney; sisters, Nannie Shands (Marvin), of Pacolet, Eloise Whitworth, of High Point, NC; sisters-in-law, Rev. Geraldine Graham, of Pacolet and Ella Simpson, Of Williamston, NC; grandchildren, Tifffany Walker, of Pacolet, Mary Knuckles, Alexus Walker and Myah Walker, of Spartanburg; great-grandchildren, Cierra Williams, Ta’liyah Dewberry Journi Miller, Nolan Miller, Treyce and Teagen Jones, all of Spartanburg; other relatives and friends.


A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Danny Burnside officiating.

Jeanette Reeves Brannon

Mrs. Jeanette Reeves Brannon, age 67, of 406 Peeler Street, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022, in her home.

Wife of John Willie Brannon, Jr.., she was a daughter of the late Speedy Guy and Oleta Bailey Reeves.

Surviving are her husband, John, of the home; a son, Micheal Anthony Reeves, Sr. (Asa Lee), of Gaffney; a daughter, Nikita Brannon, of Gaffney; a sister, Sandy Kelley, of the home; five grandchildren, Destiny Nichols and Ahveon Brannon, raised in the home, Michael Reeves, Jr, Tajio D’Andre Reeves, and Ashton Reeves, all of Gaffney; six grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, 12:00 noon, in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with The Reverend Dr. Timothy L. Hunter officiating.

Babetta Joanna Weathers

Mrs. Babetta Joanna Weathers, age 48, of 901 Ridge Rd., Roxboro, NC, passed away Monday, August 29th, in Person Memorial Hospital, Roxboro, NC.

She was born in Cleveland County, NC, and was a daughter of Brenda Randall Weathers and the late Samuel Clifton Weathers.

Babetta was a member of New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia. She was an employee of Peachtree Nursing Centre.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a sister, Veronica Weathers.  She leaves to cherish loving memories: her mother, Brenda Weathers, of Spartanburg; sons, Timothy, Antonio, Jeremy (Nikki), and Gregory Weathers, and Phillip Lester, all of Gaffney, Samuel Weathers, of Union, SC; a daughter, Anastasia Lester, of Gaffney; a brother, Rev. Les Davis (Andrea), of Charlotte; NC, Freddy Meeks (Marisa), of Shelby; sisters, Tracy Parker, of Gaffney and Samantha Weathers, of Newark, NJ; nieces and nephews, including nephews, Qwaman and Darian Weathers, both of Gaffney; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 5, 2022, 2 p.m., in The Divine True Holiness Church of God in Blacksburg, with Overseer Theodore Lockhart and Rev. Les Davis. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at 608 Providence Rd., Gaffney.
