Jason Edward Brewton, 34, of 700 Dr. Martin Luther King Street, passed on Sunday, October 30.
He was born in Gaffney and was a son of Patricia Hames Bradley of the home and the late Charles Brewton.
Jason was a graduate of Blacksburg High School, a member of Mt. Ararat First Pentecostal Church of America, Inc., and a former employee of Watts Fencing Company and Kohler Corporation.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Arianna, of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Dennis Fowler, Jr. of Greenville, Roshaun Hames (Amanda) of Jacksonville, N.C., and Capri Amos of Greenville; three sisters, Alease, Shawna, and Andria Brewton, all of Chicago; maternal grandfather, Charles “Sonny” Hames of Blacksburg and Elder Robert Brewton, Sr. of Gaffney; fiance, Isis Foster, of Gaffney.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., in Mt. Ararat First Pentecostal Church with Elder R. Dowdle officiating. Interment will follow in Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery in Blacksburg.
He will be in state in the church Saturday at 1 p.m.

Jaliyah Laniece Anderson-Valentine, infant daughter of Cheleka Valentine and Jamison Anderson, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 30, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held Friday, 11 a.m., in Buck Shoals Church Cemetery with Bishop Troy McDowell officiating.
