Maggie P. Littlejohn Studyvance

Studyvance001-2Maggie P. Littlejohn Studyvance, 66, of 274 North Green River Rd, entered eternal rest Saturday, Aug. 29.

She was born in Gaffney and was a daughter of Minnie Lee Watkins Littlejohn of Gaffney and the late Rochell Littlejohn.

She was a member of Suck Creek Baptist Church, Victor Chapter 35 Order of the Eastern Star and a retired employee of Springfield LLC.

Also surviving are a son, Clarence A Prysock (Charlene) of Gaffney; 3 daughters, Sherry Reid (Arizona), Erica Miller and Nickie Mosley (Michael); mother, Minnie Lee Watkins Littlejohn; brothers, Willie Littlejohn, Donnie M. Littlejohn and Calvin Dawkins (Betty); sisters, Mary Davis (Willie) and Pat Blankenship; sister-in-law, Julie Studyvance; close friends, Bill and Wanda Dawkins; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Services will be Thursday, 3:30 p.m., in Suck Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Macomson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of Erica Miller, 714 Fairfield St., Chesnee.

Gilmore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Wyzona Bonner

BonnerWyzona Bonner, 58, of 204 Villa Drive, Wyzona Bonner, 58, of 204 Villa Drive, entered eternal rest on Thursday, Aug. 20, at Mary Black Health System- Gaffney.

She was born in Gaffney and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Ola Simuel Bonner. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Bonner, and a sister, Mae Reid.

Surviving are one brother, Joe Lee Bonner (Dorothy); four sisters, Betty Littlejohn, Eva Bonner, Linda Kay Bonner, and Diane Bonner, all of Gaffney; grandmother, nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be Friday, 11 a.m. in the Gilmore Mortuary Chapel, 305 Rutledge Ave, Gaffney, SC. Interment will be in Mikes Creek Baptist Church of Gaffney, SC.

The Gilmore Mortuary is assisting the family.

James Lee David Brackett

James BrackettCOWPENS — James Lee David Brackett, 64, of 367 Waters Road, entered eternal rest Saturday, Aug. 22, in his home.

He was born in Cherokee County and was a son of Ruby Mae Brackett of the home and the late Johnny Lee Brackett.

“David” was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church and a retired construction worker.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by four sons, Christopher Watkins of Spartanburg, Johnny Brackett, Justin Brackett and James Brackett, all of Allentown, Pa.; four daughters, Jacqueline Klotz, Crystal Klotz Washington, Lashawn Klotz and Jessica Klotz, all of Allentown; four brothers, Johnny Vernon “Sweet” Brackett and Joseph Brackett, both of Cowpens, Ricky Brackett of Gaffney and Randy Brackett (Debra) of Chesnee; two sisters, Nellie Brackett of Cowpens and Joyce Cuttino of Richmond, Va.; 28 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Saturday at noon, in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Timothy L. Hunter officiating, assisted by Dr. A.L. Brackett and Rev. Jacob Hunter, II.

The Gilmore Mortuary is assisting the family.
