Imogene Wilson Smith, 67, of F-23 Granard Courts, W. Rutledge Ave, Gaffney, passed away Friday, January 27th, in her home.
She was born in Cherokee County and was a daughter of the late D.J. Bonner and Tessie Ruth Wilson Bonner.
She was a former member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and a former employee of Limestone Mills.
Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Smith; her parents; and four siblings, Lonnell and John Frank Wilson, Eddie Huskey, and Robertha Leach.
She leaves to cherish loving memories: two sons, William Wilson (Angel) and Victor Smith, all of Gaffney; a daughter, Emma Wilson, of Gaffney; a brother, Clyde Wilson (Arienne), of Richmond, VA; a sister, Rosa Byers (James), of Gaffney; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Johnathan Dawkins and Rev. C.A. Wallace.
The family is at the home of William and Angel Wilson, 821 N. Granard St., Gaffney.
