Mrs. Cornelious Littlejohn Willis, 77, of 523 W. Montgomery Street, Apt. 26, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021, in Spartanburg Medical Center.
Daughter of the late John Roland Wells and Elvira Littlejohn Jeter, she was born in Shelby, NC on August 2, 1943
She was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church where she served as a former Gospel Choir member, usher, Kindergarten Teacher, and member of the YWAs. “Neal” was a retiree of TNS Mills.
She was predeceased by: a daughter, Lanvonnia Phillips; a sister, Shirley Manning; granddaughter, Johnnica Willis. Surviving are: a son, Charles Shundre Willis, of Gaffney; daughters, Belinda Mayberry (Dewayne-deceased), Genvonnia Foster, Lisa Davis Farmer (Yamel), of Gaffney, Billie Jo Willis of Spartanburg, Ivey Littlejohn (Al) of Spartanburg County, Jacqualine Willis Bristol (Antron), of Moore, SC; 20 grandchildren, including Steven and Kirstern Phillips, reared in the home; a host of great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Littlejohn, of Houston, TX, Harry Littlejohn, of Shelby, NC, and Gilbert Littlejohn, of Gaffney; sister, Elwillie Williams (Claudius-deceased), of Oxon Hill, MD; special sister, Cynthia Stevenson; god daughters, Tacha Avery (Darnell) and Enelious Logan, all of Gaffney; other relatives and friends.
Public Viewing will be held Monday, from 10:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 2:00 pm. in Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. James Sanders, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
